Flipbook vs standard PDF: which should you use?

The standard PDF viewer is the right default - scroll, zoom, search, download. It's what most people expect when they click a PDF link.

Flipbook is better when the document is the experience, not just the content. A brochure, a portfolio, a conference programme, a product catalogue, a school yearbook. The page-turn animation signals "this is polished, take your time with it" in a way a scrollable PDF can't.

You can also switch to Presentation mode - one page at a time, full screen, arrow-key navigation - which is the right choice for pitch decks and slide-based content.
