View tracking
Know when your HTML page is opened
How can I tell if someone opened an HTML page I sent?
Send it as a PDF Deck link instead of a file. Every open is recorded with time, location and device, how far down they scrolled, which sections they reached and what they clicked, and you can get an email, Slack message or HubSpot note the moment it happens. Per-person links tell you exactly who it was.
Track an HTML page
- 1Drop the .html file (or zip) above, or publish it from Claude.
- 2Create a link for each recipient, or turn on the email gate.
- 3Turn on view alerts.
- 4Send the link and watch the analytics.
What you see for each view
When, where and on which device; time on page; scroll depth; which headings they reached; and every link or button they clicked, including your call-to-action.
Who opened it
Per-person links carry the recipient's name into every view. An email gate asks each visitor for a work email, and can accept only one company's domain.
No tracking pixels or cookies
Tracking comes from the link itself, so it works in every browser and doesn't depend on images loading in an email client.
Questions
- Does this work with pages made by AI?
- Yes. Pages from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and others work as they are.
- Will the recipient notice anything?
- No. They open a normal web page, unless you add an email gate or password.
